2 Arrested Almost a Decade After Fatal South Jersey Home Invasion

Authorities in South Jersey have announced two arrests in connection with a brutal, fatal home invasion nearly ten years ago.

It was on the night of September 25th, 2016, when 37-year-old Norman Mosley was shot and killed by intruders inside his home in the Browns Mills section of Pemberton Township.

Now, the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office says 45-year-old Kevin D’Costa of Irvington and 32-year-old Daemen Hodge of Browns Mills have been arrested and are facing first-degree felony murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree conspiracy, and related weapons charges.

Crime Timeline

Officials say that on that night, a violent struggle ensued after the invasion and shots were fired, striking Mosley twice. His girlfriend drove Mosley to an area hospital, where he died about an hour later. An autopsy determined the cause of death was from gunshot wounds to the head and chest.
