County Exec Issues Safety Warnings in Anticipation of Storm

As storm preparations step up, Hudson County has roughly 125 salt spreaders and over 200 employees out treating roads ahead of the snowfall, County Executive Craig Guy said at a press conference Saturday. The county also has plows on standby to clear roads once the storm, which is expected to leave eight or more inches of snow, begins.

“We haven’t seen a storm like this in over six years,” said County Executive Guy. “We are prepared, but our citizens have not experienced something like this in a while. Please be patient with us.”
