Manager of 70-year-old real estate firm honored for leadership, devotion to Staten Island causes

Christine DeHart, broker and owner of Salmon Real Estate, is a force to be reckoned with.

A native Staten Islander with deep family roots dating back to the 1600s, DeHart lives and breathes Staten Island. A graduate of Port Richmond High School, DeHart went on to continue her education at the College of Staten Island, obtaining a bachelor of science in business management. In addition to her bachelor’s degree, DeHart also received her New York state realtor license, intending to pursue real estate on the side.

Upon graduating, DeHart immediately began working for her father, who owned and managed multiple businesses on Staten Island, including a property management firm. DeHart gained experience in all four of the businesses, and she very quickly proved her worth.
