Filipino street food restaurant Meryendang Pinoy, located at 283 Newark Avenue in Jersey City, is temporarily closed after a fire damaged the restaurant on Monday, February 9th. What Happened?
According to a post shared on Instagram by the restaurant, an overnight fire on Monday, February 9th, damaged the restaurant. “There was a fire last night that is still under investigation. We’ll be closed for a while,” the post read. Several other Jersey City restaurant owners and neighbors shared in support of the Meryendang team.
