A pre-dawn walk in Brownsville turned fatal early Saturday when a man was struck by two separate hit-and-run drivers near Linden Boulevard and Rockaway Avenue, police said.
Scene and investigation
According to News 12 New York, the man was standing in the roadway around 4 a.m. when a light-colored SUV hit him. Moments later, a second light-colored SUV ran over him as he lay in the street. Both drivers took off, and as of Sunday afternoon, police had not announced any arrests.
