Trader Joe’s will open a shop in Jersey City at 55 Hudson St. Doors should swing wide in 2027. The chain had previously released information about the plan but skipped over exact dates and finer points.
The spot sits inside a Tishman Speyer-owned mixed-use tower going up near Exchange Place. Fifty-eight stories tall. More than 1,000 homes will fill the building, and 60,000 square feet of ground-floor retail will line the base, according to The Digest Online.
This will be the second Hudson County shop for the California-based grocer. They opened one in Hoboken back in 2016…
