A 30-year-old woman died early Monday when she was struck by an NJ Transit bus in East Orange, authorities said.
Eva Malcom, of Newark, was hit about 6 a.m. by a bus turning right onto Freeway Drive East from Evergreen Place, according to Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II.
Stephens said Malcom was trapped under the bus and had to be extricated. She was taken to University Hospital in Newark, where she later died…
