New Poke Spot Opens in Hoboken on 1st Street

From cafés to quick grab-and-go spots, the area continues to deliver new options for every kind of craving. Now, a new fast-casual poke concept has officially landed in the Mile Square. Poke Pot, located at 303 1st Street, is bringing fun poke bowls + fresh flavors to the mile square. Read on for more about this spot.

A First Look at Hoboken’s Newest Poke Spot

For those new to the trend, poke is a Hawaiian-inspired dish typically featuring raw fish such as tuna or salmon, served over rice and topped with sauces, vegetables, + fun add-ons. It’s known for being both customizable + fresh, making it a go-to for a quick healthy lunch/dinner option.

@tokdirty2yourfood, a local Hoboken influencer + content creator, posted to her TikTok account yesterday about the new spot, giving locals an early peek at what to expect. Through her video, we saw that Poke Pot provides lots of options to BYOB (build your own bowl), with everything from veggies to proteins and crunchy toppings to mix in as well.

After seeing the video, it encouraged Joelle from our team to stop by and give it a try, and she can confirm this new poke spot is fresh, has loads of options, + an overall great addition to the downtown area. Jordan also noted that the space itself feels light + airy, with a cool surfboard on display that adds to the tropical vibe, and a boba menu that rounds out the experience for anyone looking to pair their bowl with something sweet…
