“Unfortunately, we must inform you that our cafe was not able to secure a lease extension for our location at 55 1st Street. Without an executed lease extension, we will not be able to stay and continue operating. It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that this will be our last week of full service, wrapping up Sunday, March 22nd.
As members of the Hoboken community, that love this town dearly, we want to express our deepest thanks and appreciation to each and every one of you. I thas been a privilege to serve you and to be recognized as having some of the best coffee in our mile square. Our mission was always to create a warm, welcoming, and laid-back space for our guests – I feel like mission accomplished. While we are extremely frustrated by the current situation, we are proud of what we have achieved serving you for the past decade. While this chapter is closing, we are exploring possible new locations and look forward to the next phase of The Roost Coffee Co.”…
