One driver was killed and another was injured in a two-car crash at an intersection in Newark Sunday morning, officials said.
Police responded to South Street and McCarter Highway around 7:40 a.m. for a report of a crash, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda said.
One driver went into cardiac arrest at the scene, was taken to University Hospital in Newark in critical condition, and pronounced dead at 8 a.m., authorities said…
