USPS proposes rate hike for July: Things to know

NEW YORK (PIX11) — The United States Postal Service may implement new price changes starting July 12.

The new rates include a 4-cent increase in the price of a First-Class Mail Forever stamp from 78 cents to 82 cents.

The proposed adjustments, approved by the governors of the Postal Service, will be reviewed by the Postal Regulatory Commission.
