Battle Creek Welcomes Michigan’s First Jack In The Box With A Taco Twist

Michigan’s first Jack-in-the-Box location in Battle Creek off Capital Avenue has been plagued with more than an hour-long drive-through times since its grand opening on June 15.

This is the first time the fast food restaurant has made its way to Michigan, and demand is incredibly high to try their menu. The traditional fast food cheeseburger place is also well known for its tacos, so naturally, I had to try it out for the first time.

Traffic Issues for Jack in the Box

The biggest issue currently is people waiting in the right lane of Capital Avenue, which serves as an extension of the drive-through line.

From the moment that I was stopped on Capital Avenue to the time I left was about one hour. But the only reason it was an hour long was when I finally made it into the parking lot, I was able to maneuver my car into a parking space and go inside…
