FULTON, MI – The Bodéwadmi (Potawatomi) community at the Pine Creek Indian Reservation, which is about 15 miles south of Battle Creek, will host its annual powwow this weekend.
The event is Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, and all are welcome to a weekend of dancing, singing, culture, community, traditional foods, crafts and celebration at 1485 Mno Bmadzewen Way in Fulton.
This year’s theme is “Honoring Our Elders.” There will be a variety of ways for families to join the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi. The event is free and open to the public…
