PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — After a late-night search, authorities in Calhoun County say they found an assault suspect hiding in a dog house.
It started around 5:05 p.m. Wednesday, when the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office responded to Darlene Lane near Maxwell Avenue in Pennfield Township. Authorities were told that someone had assaulted a man and a woman inside a home.
At the scene, deputies found both the man and the woman with “visible facial injuries,” according to the sheriff’s office. The woman also had a “significant head injury caused by a blunt object,” deputies said. The two were treated on scene…
