MARTIN, Mich. (WOOD) — The best of the National Hot Rod Association will rip down the drag strip at US 131 Motorsports Park this weekend in the first association event in Michigan in 66 years.
“It’s been many, many moons ago that we raced here and we were able to kind of cut my teeth out here on a nitro car,” said Matt Hagan, the four-time funny car champ and current points leader.
He isn’t a stranger to seeing this drag strip, having raced here before in 2008. Now, he’s back with other top fuel and funny car drivers…
