KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Fall is officially in the air, right on schedule to enjoy this weekend’s full Harvest Moon.
The moon will reach max illumination on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, 12:49 p.m., but won’t rise in the east until around sunset.
The Harvest Moon refers to the full moon that happens closest to the autumnal equinox, which this year happened on Sept. 22. This means it can also occur in October.
