BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A man who texted two teens to steal a car for money will spend 7 years in prison for his role in a fatal Battle Creek carjacking.
Marcus Parsons, 21, was sentenced Monday, just over a month after he pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the 2023 shooting death of Jack Snyder.
In addition to his prison term, Parsons will have to pay over $17,400 in restitution, a judge ordered.
