Paul Alan Hall, 57, was charged Wednesday for the murder of Della Brown, who was found dead inside a residence at Avenue A Trailer Park in Springfield on Dec. 13.

Family told News 8 in December that she had been in a two-month long relationship with a man out on parole. Neighbors said they moved in together just three weeks prior to Brown’s death.

Deputies determined Hall as a person of interest and notified surrounding law enforcement agencies, including nearby states. He was arrested in Illinois after he led deputies on a chase when they tried to pull him over.
