Kellogg Community College (KCC) in Southwest Michigan is now accepting applications for its Health Sciences programs. These programs produce graduates who work in various health care roles such as EMTs, paramedics, medical assistants, nurses, dental hygienists, physical therapist assistants, radiographers, and others. The application period for these programs started in January, with different deadlines throughout the spring semester.

The Dental Hygiene Program, accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), is one of the programs open for application. This two-year program trains students to become Registered Dental Hygienists. The application deadline is March 1. Students get practical experience in the College’s Dental Hygiene Clinic on campus in Battle Creek.

The Physical Therapist Assistant Program is also accepting applications. It is the first program of its kind in Michigan and the sixth in the U.S. The program, accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), trains students to become licensed PTAs. The deadline for this program is April 5.
