Michigan’s rising housing costs fuel ‘invisible homelessness’

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – As housing costs shoot up across the state, Michiganders are struggling to stay afloat and renters are becoming displaced. The Michigan State Housing Development Authority is calling it ‘invisible homelessness’, saying a majority of Michiganders are feeling the pinch in their pockets living paycheck to paycheck.
