KALAMAZOO, MI – A Kalamazoo man who allegedly stabbed an unhoused neighbor to death in November is now headed to trial for murder. Following a preliminary hearing on Friday, Feb. 9 in Kalamazoo County District Court, Jason Lawrence Blough, 41, was bound over to circuit court on one count of open murder. Blough is believed to have stabbed 62-year-old Heriberto “Eddie” Contreras in the early morning hours of Sunday, Nov. 12.
