KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI – A Portage woman responsible for the August 2021 death of her 21-month-old daughter is headed to prison. Coty Ann Lyon, 32, was sentenced Monday, Feb. 12, to serve between 22 months and 15 years in prison for one count of manslaughter in the death of Lyon’s daughter, Olivia Louisa Stripling.
