OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. – West Michigan veterinarian offices said they are struggling to find people to hire, a problem that is currently affecting the entire country. Bruce Withers, who owns Eighth Street Veterinarian Care in Oshtemo Township, said that newly-graduated veterinarians prefer to join a corporate staff rather than a local practice.
