BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – A firefighter from the Battle Creek Fire Department (BCFD) was hospitalized after responding to a structure fire Tuesday evening, according to BCFD. Crews were dispatched to a residence on Hunter Street near McKinley Avenue North just after 5 p.m. for a report of a fire with people possibly trapped inside, authorities said.
