KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, or KDPS, responded to a report of a train that struck a pedestrian in Kalamazoo Friday. An Amtrak train struck a pedestrian along the train tracks north of East Michigan Avenue between Harrison Street and Riverview Drive near the Thunderbird restaurant.
