Kzoo police find gun after self-inflicted shooting

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Kalamazoo police say a person appears to have been injured in a self-inflicted shooting in Kalamazoo and officers later tracked down the gun.

Around 2:45 p.m., officers with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety were sent to the area of N Sage Street near Stonebrook Avenue after receiving reports of shots being fired in the area. The person who called the police described a car involved in the event.

The silver Nissan Altima was quickly found by officers and stopped on Florence Street.
