2 arrested after allegedly shooting out of pickup truck

COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people were arrested after allegedly shooting out of a pickup truck in southwest Michigan on Saturday night.

Around 9:50 p.m., deputies with the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office were notified by Calhoun County that a silver Chevy Silverado was heading westbound into Kalamazoo County and that a caller had reported that the people inside were shooting out of the truck. The exact location of where the shots were fired was not released.

Kalamazoo deputies found the truck on I-94 near 35th Street. The sheriff’s office said that they pulled the truck over on I-94 near River Street.

The two people inside were arrested. The sheriff’s office said that it would be requesting charges for the driver.

The case remains under investigation.
