KALAMAZOO, MI — A 13-year-old was shot in Kalamazoo and police believe it happened while juveniles were handling a gun, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said after an initial investigation. The shooting happened after 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at Interfaith Homes, in the 1000 block of Interfaith Boulevard.
