KALAMAZOO, Mich. – A 13-year-old boy who was shot last Friday in Kalamazoo is expected to survive, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS). Investigators said that the teen was shot around 11 a.m. after a group of minors were unsafely handling an “unlawful weapon” on Interfaith Boulevard near Woodward Avenue.
