COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. – New numbers released from the report, “Kids Count in Michigan,” show a decline in third graders proficient in reading throughout the state. Data shows only 42.1% of third graders met standards in the English Language Arts portion on the M-STEP test in 2022.
