Former Kalamazoo Township manager sentenced, files $1M discrimination lawsuit

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – An eavesdropping case against a former Kalamazoo Township manager has come to a close. Friday, a judge sentenced Dexter Mitchell to a $1000 fine on a charge of misdemeanor charge of willful neglect of duty as a public officer. He was also given a $500 court fee, a $60 DNA fee, a crime fee of $50, and state costs of $75.
