Michigan University Nets $5M Grant to Study Energy

(TNS) – Michigan may play a key role in developing new technologies to capture carbon emissions and store the planet-warming gases deep underground. The U.S. Department of Energy awarded a $5 million grant to Western Michigan University researchers to help create a roadmap for carbon capture, use, and storage within the Michigan Basin’s geologic formations.
