KALAMAZOO, MI — Demolition of a Days Inn hotel was underway on Friday, Aug. 30 — five months after a fire destroyed the building. The two-story hotel at 2615 Airview Boulevard, near I-94 and the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport, was condemned after a fire tore through the structure on March 24.
