KALAMAZOO, MI — A homeless encampment just west of Western Michigan University’s campus is slated for cleanup. Signs of people living in tents behind Western Pines Apartments, 3814 Pine Terrace Blvd., started a few hundred feet into the wooded area. Further back into the woods, another section of encampment was wider, with evidence of several more people living there.
