Threat made at Portage North Middle School ‘not credible,’ district says

PORTAGE, Mich. – An alleged threat of violence at Portage North Middle School was found to be not credible, according to Portage Public Schools Thursday. Staff were notified of the alleged threat at the end of the day Wednesday, and promptly began an investigation with Portage Department of Public Safety, according to Portage North Principal Travis Thomsen, PH.D., in a message to families.
