KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Work on the Trowbridge Dam on the Kalamazoo River will cause the closing the boat launch at 26th Street beginning this Friday. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency officials say crews are currently working to change the boat launch space into a staging area for the Kalamazoo River cleanup project. Another staging area is under construction on the north side of 108th Avenue just west of 26th Street.
