LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A crash in Washtenaw County left three people dead this morning. It happened around 7:18 a.m. on M-14 near Gotfredson Road in Plymouth Township.
Investigators say a 2024 Nissan Rogue was driving the wrong way eastbound on M-14 and had exited the freeway onto the eastbound entrance ramp from Gotfredson Road. The Nissan then collided with a 2020 Tesla.
The Tesla driver, a 53-year-old man from Munich, and the driver and passenger of the Nissan Rogue, a 31-year-old man from Battle Creek, and a 27-year-old woman from Battle Creek were killed in the crash.
MSP has posted an update saying the eastbound ramp entrance will be closed until further notice so troopers can investigate the crash.
