KALAMAZOO, MI – A man who shot at police officers and attempted to rob a grocery store in 2022 was sentenced Monday to serve between 19 and 42 years in prison. Juan Antonio Alvarado-Lopez, 44, was sentenced Monday, Sept. 30, in Kalamazoo County Circuit Court on 14 felony charges.
