PORTAGE, Mich. – Detectives from the Portage Department of Public Safety are investigating after a woman was found dead in a vacant office building Monday. Officers were called to the building, located on Admiral Avenue near South Westnedge Avenue, around 3:45 p.m. for a property check when they found a woman dead inside of an “unsecured vestibule” of the structure, police said.
