KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI – An unattended campfire in Portage Friday afternoon led to the destruction of a nearby outbuilding. Fire crews were called at 4:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, to Harvest Lane for a report of an outbuilding on the property on fire, according to the Portage Fire Department.
