Vote for the Battle Creek Enquirer Athlete of the Week for week of Jan. 4

BATTLE CREEK – Meet the Battle Creek Enquirer Athletes of the Week, presented by Oaklawn Hospital.

Each week during the high school sports season, we will ask our readers to vote for the top performance of the week in all high school sports, taking a look at events from Monday-Saturday.

Make sure to vote early and often for your pick, as the winner will be featured in an Athlete of the Week spotlight story in the Sunday edition of the Enquirer. Fans can vote for their favorite athlete until Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Harper Creek Boys Wrestling

Camren Brock has already earned his 100th win of his career during his junior year. Brock finished first at 120 pounds at the North Branch Invitational over the holiday break.

St. Philip Boys Basketball

Carter Dzwik helped St. Philip to two wins since the calendar flipped to 2025. Dzwik had a team-high 21 points, including four 3-pointers, in a 65-58 win over Howardsville Christian in a showcase game at Cornerstone University on Jan. 2. The next day, St. Philip was playing at the University of Michigan in another showcase opportunity as Dzwik helped the Tigers defeat East Jordan, 52-47, with 14 points.
