WMU hosts study abroad fair to highlight programs

Haenicke Institute for Global Education (HIGE) and the College of Arts and Sciences hosted a series of study abroad fairs Jan. 14 and Jan. 16. The fairs specifically focused on programs within the Arts and Sciences curriculum.

Students were presented with programs ranging in cost, length and subject matter. Students attending the fair had the opportunity to speak with a scholarship representative.

“We’re trying to get students who maybe haven’t thought about studying abroad,” said Associate Director of Study Abroad Alison Sprague. “We already hear from students who already know about study abroad, who want to hear about it and want to do it. It’s good to have a presence.”…
