Update: Winter weather advisory issued for 4 Michigan counties until Thursday evening – up to 5 inches of snow

The advisory was for Mason, Oceana, Muskegon, Ottawa, Allegan, Van Buren and Kalamazoo counties.

“The Winter Weather Advisory will be allowed to expire at 7 p.m. Additional snowfall will be light on the order of an inch or two through tonight,” according to the National Weather Service.
