Deputies: Man hospitalized after being stabbed ‘multiple’ times

JONES, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was hospitalized after being stabbed multiple times at a home southwest of Three Rivers early Sunday, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

It happened around 4 a.m. at a home on High Street in Jones, Michigan. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to a stabbing call to find a 56-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times with a knife. Deputies and then medical first responders treated him at the scene before he was taken to the hospital.

The suspect, a 20-year-old man, was found a “short distance away” from the home, according to deputies. Investigators say there was a domestic assault involving the suspect and a woman, who all lived in the same house as the victim. The victim was injured in the assault, deputies say…
