‘Calm, professional’: Deputy praised for helping unresponsive 1-month-old

ARLINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A Van Buren County deputy is being praised for stopping an infant from choking Saturday morning near Bangor.

The 911 call came in around 7:30 a.m. Saturday, reporting that a 1-month-old in Arlington Township was having trouble breathing, Sgt. Andrew Galer with the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office said.
