NORTHERN MICHIGAN (WPBN/WGTU) — Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has declared a state of emergency focusing on 10 northern Michigan counties following the damaging ice storm over the weekend.
“It sounded like a war was going on,” Cheboygan resident Steve Bergeron said. “You would hear loud cracking, trees totally snapping off. Every second, that’s what you would hear, if not worse.”
