Kalamazoo resident finishes second on ‘Jeopardy!’

KALAMAZOO, MI — A professor from Western Michigan University came in second place on “Jeopardy!” on Tuesday, April 8.

Anise K. Strong-Morse, a Kalamazoo resident and a professor specializing in ancient history, won $3,000 with her second-place result.

Strong-Morse was competing against Joe Lancour from Massachusetts and returning champion Mike Dawson from Oregon. Dawson won his third game in a row, bumping his total winnings up to $57,000.
