Cleanup continues in Calhoun, Eaton counties after storms

PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Over a thousand people in Calhoun and Eaton counties remain without power days after a tornado rolled through the area.

Crews continue to fix up power lines as residents clean up damage. Last Thursday night, a confirmed EF0 tornado, the Bedford tornado, crossed through Pennfield Township with winds of about 85 miles per hour. Pennfield Township is a community of about 9,000 outside Battle Creek.
