KALAMAZOO, Mich. — On Thursday, May 22, an employee at Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Southwest Michigan notified CEO Amy Kuchta that their heating, ventilation, and air conditioning unit was stolen.
The unit sits in a protected concrete area. Kuchta told News Channel 3 the door was locked and bolted, so she suspects someone climbed the concrete wall to steal the unit.
“My staff came into me and said, ‘You’re not going to believe this,” Kuchta said. “‘Someone took the HVAC unit.'”
