FORT CUSTER NATIONAL CEMETERY, Mich. — In remembrance of those who gave their lives serving in the military ahead of Memorial Day, the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA) and Fort Custer National Cemetery (FCNC) are holding a “Program of Remembrance” wreath-laying ceremony Sunday.

Opening remarks will be delivered by FCNC Director Rodney Heard at 2 p.m. with music by the Cereal City Concert Band, Kalamazoo Area Pipers, according to event organizers.
Honors will be delivered from the 100th Color Guard and the FCNC Honor Guard Monday squad with echo taps performed by Tim Collins and a flyover by the Hooligans Flight Team.
